How To Adopt a PA Caring Hearts Dog or Cat

Happily ever after, that’s our goal!

The personality and needs of every dog and cat vary from one to another. We want to make sure that we match you with the best dog or cat for you and for your home. So, there is a simple adoption matchmaking procedure, starting with:

  1. Check out our wonderful, loving dogs and cats on our rescues page.
  2. Complete an adoption application.
  3. Talk with us and arrange to meet the dog/cat(s) you are interested in, or visit us during weekend adoption events!

If you see a dog or cat on our website or meet one at an adoption event that you are interested in getting to know, please complete either our online adoption questionnaire, or fill one out on site at an adoption event. We will discuss your desires at the adoption event or we will get in touch with you as soon as possible. You can always email adoptions@caringhearts.com with additional questions.

When your adoption has been completed, you pay a one time adoption fee. An adoption fee helps to cover some of the costs associated with spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and other care given before the animal is available for adoption.

Senior For Senior Adoption Program

If you are over 62 and would be willing to open your heart and your home to an older dog or cat, you would qualify for our Senior for Senior adoption program. The adoption fee would be waived under this program. If interested in a Senior for Senior adoption, please fill out our Senior for Senior adoption form.
